How I Did

So this is how i did:

1) Using a non-electric Toothbrush-i did it! i used a manual toothbrush to brush my teeth AND didn't leave the water on!
2) shut off my lights when i leave for the day-EASY!
3) put some blankets on my bead-Its getting hotter because of summer so i was taking blankets off but yeah kinda?
4) Take a 10 min Shower instead of a 25-I EPICALLY fail at that
5) Recycle-somewhat.....its hard

Heavenly Shower

So i was just at a westin hotel in rhode island and they have a crazy sign in the shower. (shown to the left) its says that they are helpng the envirement by turning off the second shower head. i felt like luke skywalker and darthvador was saying "come to the dark side luke turn on the second shower head." (ok im sorry i was in a nerd fest there) ok so back to it i dont know if they get or not but calling it a heaveny shower is not the wy to go.....so there pretty much saying "if you want a crappy shower keep the second shower head off if you want a "Heavenly shower" turn it on" oooohhhh the temptation! i don't get why they even have a second shower head i don't think i would care at all if it had one shower head or two....so i did what any regular teenager wold do.....i kept the shower head off and took a nice 20 minute shower....i felt good after that i had saved some energy.

The Beggining of the End (of haveing 20 min showers)

Ok so the point of my blog is to save energy and stop a little thing called global Warming (which is a Theory). To save energy i will be trying to do 5 simple everyday things everyday for two weeks. here's the 5 things that ill be doing:
1) Using a non-electric Toothbrush (oh the horror!!!)
2) shut off my lights when i leave for the day (it takes a lot of work to flip a switch you know)
3) put some blankets on my bead so i wont freeze when the heats turned down
4) Take a 10 min Shower instead of a 25
5) Recycle (We do it anyway because of my Step-Dad....but I'm Horrible at it!)

So thats What im gonaa Do....and as an expirement ill try to stop makeing fun of people that drive a Prius (especially if its blue)
